The SK22 FREYA is now available for sale after a comprehensive restoration, where about 8,000 man hours were spent to bring this unique classic racing squaremetre back to a better than new condition. All aspects of this boat were covered during the works and a new specially designend Alaska Silver Spruce mast and rig configuration have been realized with new 2013 sails. FREYA is built from mahogany timber on (new) oak ribs with a new deck from oregon pine. Even the lead ballast has been casted new, all deck hardware refurbished or specially made, not to mention the complete new coatings throughout the boat. The restoration was finalized in 2013, a survey from the same year is available.
